I have some exciting news! The Wildermyth OST has a release date!!

RELEASE DATE: THURSDAY, MARCH 27th

The soundtrack will be available for purchase on the 27th from:

• Bandcamp (Download and CDs)
• Steam (Download only)
• Wildermyth merch store (CDs only)

Please note that while the official release date is March 27th, there is some possibility that distribution platforms (like iTunes, Spotify, etc.) will trickle in after that. This does not affect Bandcamp, Steam, or Wildermyth merch store sales.

THERE WILL BE MULTIPLE VERSIONS OF THE ALBUM

There are 65 tracks total, but the distribution service I used limits an album to 50 tracks. To accommodate this, I split it into two releases:

• "Wildermyth OST" - this includes all of the newly recorded versions, plus the original versions of three tracks. 34 tracks total. These are the same tracks included on the CD copies.
• "Wildermyth OST: Original / Midi Versions" - this includes all of the original versions of the music, and three bonus tracks that are not used in the game. 34 tracks total.

On services where I have direct control, I am releasing the unbroken version:

• "Wildermyth OST: Complete" - this includes ALL released versions of the music. 65 tracks total.

(Please note that while the split versions of the album add up to 68 tracks, they share three in common. There are 65 unique tracks in total.)

CD COPIES

Purchases of the CD will be available from Bandcamp and the Wildermyth merch store ONLY. CDs contain the same 34 tracks as the "Wildermyth OST" flavor of the split album, but include a download of the "Complete" version from Bandcamp.

PRICING

I do not have control over the price of the music at distribution outlets. I only have control over the prices on Bandcamp, Steam, and the Wildermyth merch store, so there will be some price variation.

GIVEAWAY

I will be running a giveaway of some kind over social media, specific details to come later. I've been holding some of the music boxes, pins, and Makeship plushies in reserve specifically for this! The giveaway will likely be the last chance to get any of those items.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Due to current laws, it is unlikely that physical items (including for giveaways) will be shipped many places outside of the Americas. I will continue researching this issue, as major changes have been implemented in recent months. I would like to offer shipping to as many countries as possible, but it is difficult or even impossible for an individual or a small business to comply with some of the new laws.

Well hello! I have some actual news for you!

Progress on the OST has been going well. Everything is edited and most of it is mixed. I'm hoping to announce a release date soon, but the album should be out in either December 2024 or January 2025.

We're also doing a short run of CDs! I've updated the FAQs to reflect this and a few other things that have been asked recently.

If you're interested in buying a CD, or in the possibility of either vinyl or sheet music down the line, I'd love for you to fill out this survey. It will help us make sure we get enough copies of the CD and make decisions about the other two. This survey has already been linked in a kickstarter update, the Wildermyth discord, and some social media posts, so if it looks familiar, please don't fill it out a second time. I'll close it for responses in probably another week, or sooner if all the mixes are done and we're already preparing to order the CDs.

Greetings and Welcome, Gentle Reader. I finally have the Wildermyth OST website up and running! Many thanks to Violet Eris B for designing and building the site, and for having endless patience with my slow pace.

The blog updates will be pretty much the same information as what gets posted on the kickstarter, but in a little bit of a different format. If things start rolling at a fast pace, I might post smaller things here inbetween larger, summary updates for the kickstarter backers. We'll see how it goes!
