Devan Moran

Devan received his Bachelor of Music in violin performance at North Park University while studying with both the assistant concertmaster and principal violist of the Chicago Symphony. He later studied with Young-Nam Kim in Minnesota and Lina Bahn in Colorado. He plays regularly with The Laurels String Quartet, The Charles Gorczynski Tango Quartet and the 10th Wave Chamber Music Collective; maintains a studio of 40+ students; and coaches small chamber ensembles.

He co-founded Opera Ritrovata Publishing and Delirium Musicum, and was awarded Cultural Personality of the Year 2011 by the Ministry of Culture of the Dominican Republic.
